What is Red Light Therapy and How Does it Work?

A trendy state of being that seems more like a destination rather than a practice. As if you will arrive one day completely clean and cleansed of any impurity, any sign of bloating, and the glow of your skin lighting up a dark room. While this destination sounds peaceful, heavenly, and like a place most people would probably extend their stay, unfortunately, it doesn’t exist.
There is really no such state as being in a complete detox. Detoxing is actually a health practice that you will have to do over and over again. Thankfully, we think we have what you need to make this habit feel like less of a chore and more of a luxury.
What does it actually mean to detox?
Detox usually implies following a lifestyle that can help rid your body of harmful toxins. Riding the body of these toxins can actually help the body to function better which includes improving health and promoting weight loss. When our body is working correctly, it is well equipped to detox on its own. Unfortunately sometimes with lifestyle, the body’s natural detox process can become muddled and slow. Thankfully, there are ways we can actually enhance the body’s natural detoxification system.
Here are 4 of our favorite ways to help enhance the body’s natural detoxification system and how they work!
Infrared sauna pods
Why is an infrared sauna pod better for detoxing than a traditional sauna pod? The power is in the wavelength of the light. Infrared light can penetrate deeper than normal heat. This helps with the regeneration of the body providing maximum benefits. In addition to infrared heat and red light therapy, the sauna pod also offers a lymphatic drainage massage. Imagine a highway and your toxins are the cars. The infrared had pulled off the toxins, or cars, out of the body and now they are jammed on the highway with nowhere to go. The lymphatic drainage massage helps to move the toxins down the “highway” and ultimately gives you a clear pathway for an ultimate detox.
Ion Foot cleanse
The Ion Foot Cleanse utilizes negative and positive ions to help our bodies get back into balance creating a healthy and strong immune system.
